In our first year as Licensees we came runners up in the Unique Pub Company awards for ‘New Comer Of The Year’,
something we are really proud off, it was lovely to be recognised for all the hard work in turning the pub around.
And in July 2006 we were awarded the vote of 2nd Best Canal Side Pub In The Country, by readers of Canal Boat and Inland Waterways magazine. Really scary because we have to live up to it now – but it was great and we would like to thank everyone who voted for us – THANK YOU!
